Tiers in SSB4

How could you not love this.

I, like many other players, have a favorite Super Smash Bros Brawl character. Furthermore, I'll admit, they are not the highest tier. That character is Captain Falcon; specifically, in his alternate pink color scheme. (Which I'm actually creating a cosplay for; but that's for another day.) Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch is one of the most powerful moves in the game, however, his save is sucky, to say the least, and other than that, he's so-so.

It's common knowledge the focus of Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS is equality for all the characters; however, will this remove the existence of tiers all together, if they can accomplish this? Could Ganondorf be playable?

I'm not so sure. With the introduction of difficult to master characters such as Rosalina/Luma and Megaman, tiers might be even more prominent. I do think, however, in casual/semi-competitve play, it will be much easier to get into your favorite character, which might induce more players to join competitively. When I get SSB4, I'll be switching my main from Lucario/Snake over to Captain Falcon and possible the Grape Ape. With any luck, the match ups will dramatically improve over Brawl.
