AC: Wii U Confirmed?
Animal crossing fans have been expecting a Wii U version since the release of New Leaf. We now have *slight* evidence that we may be in for such things, or at least, more functionality for the games in the series we currently have.While browsing the nintendo website, I came across amiibo. Interested, as a collector of figures, I looked further into it.

The top image clearly features Tom Nook and Isabelle.
Unless they plan to add amiibo functionality to New Leaf, which is over a year old now, or the Plaza, we may be able to expect something planned for the Wii U.
(Which actually comes as no surprise to me; A Wii U version would follow the 'pattern' of AC: Console, Handheld, Console, Handheld)

Personally, I think the new game will be a great success. With any luck, they will improve on complaints like grass wear and villager personalities, while still keeping the same lots of stuff! Hopefully they make Tom Nook a bit more important <3
